More than 120 kilometres of marked mountain bike trails are close to our establishment. You can also take the Mont-Blanc Tramway to go down the famous mountain by mountain bike. Our hotel in Sallanches - Passy is located at the crossroads of several valleys for exceptional bike rides: the Col des Aravis, the Col de la Colombière, the Domancy climb and many others.

From our charming hotel, set off on a mountain hike. Trails suitable for all levels are nearby. In the Chamonix Valley, don't miss the Gorges de la Diosaz. This suspended path will surprise and awe you.

Around Sallanches and Passy, numerous ski areas are waiting for you: Megève, Saint-Gervais, Chamonix, Plaine-Joux, Combloux, and many more. Whether you prefer snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or tobogganing, you can enjoy your favorite winter sport during your stay at the Auberge de l'Orangerie.  

For beginners, ski and snowboard lessons are available at the various ski resorts. We recommend contacting the local ski schools to book your lessons on “ Revolution Glisse ”.

The region’s largest and most beautiful cities are just a few minutes' drive away. We recommend starting your tour with a visit to Sallanches and the Collegiate Church of Saint-Jacques. Then, continue on to Chamonix to explore its Saint-Michel Church, the Aiguille du Midi, the Merlet Nature Park, and Lac Blanc. Finally, head to Geneva and Annecy, where you can enjoy their many museums, theaters, historical monuments, and artisan shops.

In the high Arve valley, Sallanches offers a shopping center where you can pick up a souvenir from the region. Don’t miss its town center, filled with charming artisan shops. On Saturday mornings, a market is held along the quays of Sallanches. You can also visit the market in Passy on Tuesday mornings, the one in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains on Wednesday mornings, and the market in Combloux, also on Wednesday mornings.
